Ania Reynolds is a freelance musician and composer.
She has worked as a composer for various theatre companies including NICA, the Women’s Circus, Murray Arts, as well as working regularly with Polyglot Puppet Theatre Company and Westside Circus.
Recent soundtrack credits include Polyglot Puppet Theatre’s Checkout! (RAV tours 2007-08, QLD regional schools’ tour 2008, RAV theatres tour 2009) and The Big Game (Melbourne International Arts Festival 2008, Awesome Festival For Bright Young Things Perth 2008, Singapore International Arts Festival 2009), Westside Circus’ A Watertight World (2007) and Spilt Milk (RAV tours 2007-08), Asking For Trouble’s Bubblewrap And Boxes (La Mama 2008, Melbourne Comedy Festival 2009) and Randy’s Postcards From Purgatory (Melbourne Comedy Festival 2009).
Ania also composes for film, and has performed her scores live with the Silent Box Project.
Ania plays in the bands Croque Monsieur (on clarinet), Johnnie and the Johnnie Johnnies (Hammond), and Papa Chango (keyboards). With these groups she has performed at various venues and festivals around the country including The Falls (2005-06, 2008), St Kilda Festival (2007, 2009), Port Fairy Folk Festival (2003), Brunswick Music Festival (2002, 2004, 2006-07), and the Melbourne International Arts Festival (2007).
